We are a group of coffee roasters based in Europe committed to work directly with small farmers cooperatives to promote high quality coffees that are organically grown in democratic structures. As a group we buy and import green coffee together, work closely with our partners at origin, share knowledge and try to make a significant change in the coffee industry.

Import Standards
We have set ourselves a list of rules that work as minimum requirements and guidelines for all imports and cooperation with our producing partners. Fair prices, high quality, organic and small hold farming and many more.

Cooperatives
We are committed to work directly with small farmers cooperatives and work on long term relationships. Since 2012 we started working closely with more and more producers, today we buy and import from 12 coops in 10 countries.

Who we are
We are a small but growing group of specialty coffee roasters, all based in Europe. Together we form relationships with coffee producers, import coffee, share knowledge and try to increase our positive impact on the coffee industry.
We are aware that in order to substantially impact the coffee industry, we have to combine resources, buy more coffee at fair prices and furthermore give the cooperatives a voice. As a group we have relationships to farmer groups in ten countries and visit them once a year. Furthermore we as roasters meet twice a year in order to discuss, exchange, cup coffees and plan ahead.
Making an impact - together.

We, Roasters United, are a group of 20 Roasters from Austria, Denmark, France, Germany, Italy and Switzerland.
